“ This restaurant is a pretty good option for Chinese if you're in the area. They hand pull their own noodles and if you ask for spicy, brace yourself! It'll be spicy, so 2 thumbs up for that. My family and I typically order the following items: Beef wrap 4/5: if this item is on the menu at any restaurant, I will try it to compare and this one is pretty comparable to some A+ places in California.. it's not the most amaziiing but pair with some chili oil, a little vinegar and your taste buds will be happy! Salt n' pepper fish 4/5: yumm! This is how I got my toddler to enjoy eating fish other than seared salmon that his dad makes at home. The breading is definitely NOT overbearing, it's light, crispy, and just enough salt and pepper. This and the salt n' pepper pork chops are our go-to. Hand pulled stir fry noodles 4/5: Solid, flavorful noodles no matter what choice of meat/tofu you opt for. We always enjoy this dish but if your sensitive spices, you may want to reconsider or make sure to let your waiter know you can't do spicy. Dim Sum: no score, just pass on it. The 2 times we ordered a variety of dim sum it was over cooked and lacking. Overall, we frequent this restaurant for Chinese/Sichuan style food every so often and are rarely disappointed. We typically end up with leftovers so if you factor that in, not bad for the price! ”
“ I absolutely love this place. The cold cucumber salad is fantastic. The hand pulled noodles with any of the meats is incredible. If you can do spicy, definitely lean into it. The fried fish fillets are great too. The one thing that is not 100% is the scallion pancakes which is a bummer--- they are still good though, just not the same level as the rest of the food. This is the most traditional Chinese restaurant I have found in Portland and we can't get enough. ”
“ I was able to go in special when they first opened and try them out. I was all set to just run in, grab some noodles to go to try later and leave. I was 'schooled' and am so grateful. You need to go in with friends order a bunch and eat there. Your leftovers will be amazing but give those amazing noodles some major well deserved bites when they are delivered to your table fresh. I am genuinely not a huge noodle person.... Or, I wasn't before I came here that first time. I now crave these. My order is getting their medium thin noodles with pork belly and bok choy plus some onion pancake. I cannot imagine anything you order not being delicious. ”
“ Finally had a chance to try this trending hand pulled noodles restaurant. I got the Lanzhou Hand Pulled Beef Noodle Soup but forgot to take a picture... Broth and beef was amazing taste. The flat wide noodles are ridiculously wide. An experience on their own lol. I wouldn't get these noodles every time but once in a while. Braised beef noodle soup was very good. Lamb skewers were a nice appetizer. Menu is online site and order, pretty decent setup. Gotta come back to try th other noodles ”
“ I'm a big soup person and there aren't too many Chinese soup noodles places in Beaverton so this is definitely a top favorite and a regular place for me. They are known for their hand pulled Lanzhou noodles varying in size. See pictures, unlike my friends who prefer thinner noodles I love ordering my beef noodle soup with WIDE FLAT noodles. If you like doughy noodles this is the noodle choice for you. Besides their noodles I love a good broth as well and the beef noodle soup is mild but very flavorful. The soup is topped with cilantro so if you don't like that it might not be the soup for you. I have been here a number of times and tried a majority of the sides. My favorite go to one is the fried green beans. This time I tried lamb skewers and they were fantastic! Will definitely reorder. The service here is self order on your phone and the food comes out immediately no matter how busy it is. The staff here is so friendly and kind each time. ”
“ I came here after a gym session with my boyfriend and were super excited to try it. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious and there's a lot of staff. You order from a QR code on your phone and staff brings it out. The service is pretty quick. We ordered braised beef noodles, lamb skewers, wontons, xiao long bao, and a Chinese pork burger. Everything was delicious, but I wish there was just a LITTLE bit more flavor (or maybe some chili oil on the side would have done the trick). Nonetheless, I still enjoyed everything I got and would love to come back to try more of their items. ”
“ I don't live nearby so we felt that we needed to order many things to make it worth the drive. We ordered: sliced beef roll (the favorite dish) golden buns, pork boa, shrimp dumplings, and spicy beef flat noodle. Service was prompt and the restaurant was very clean. All the food we ordered was delicious and big portions. We ate until we were satisfied and had leftovers that fed my husband and ourselves later that evening. ”
“ Y U M M M I stopped by for dinner on a weekday and ordered two dishes: Fried Red Chili flakes Noodles with ground meat and Lanzhou Hand Pull Beef Noodle Soup. It was so good that we slurped up everything. The star of the show here really is the noodles. They're fresh, chewy and go well with everything. They're also quite long, which is why scissors are provided. ”
“ I went to eat with a group of people so I was able to try many things but apologies if I don't remember the specific names. First off, the service was very nice, they kept checking on us with napkins and water, too. We ordered: 1. A chicken appetizer. It was not bad, a tad spicy for me so I think for everyone else it'll be okay. 2. Duck appetizer. The meat was on the drier side but the flavor was very nice! 3. "lvl 2" thickness braised beef noodle soup. I had this multiple times and still good and consistent! 4. We ordered the same thing but "lvl 7" or so with thickness. A little bit was nice but thick noodles make me full too quickly. 5. We got the "patty" with meat and veggies inside. The outside was probably fried and it was really nice...if you like cilantro (sorry, I don't but others enjoyed it haha) 6. We ordered a bing with some cilantro but not as heavy so I was able to manage it after taking some out (sorry!) The meat was really good and I liked the texture of the bing. 7. The salt and pepper fried fish filet was my favorite! Super flavorful but not too salty or spicy. It would go well with rice. I enjoyed this very much and we encored it after eating the first plate haha. I think the portions are reasonable to share, too. I would come back again! ”
